A couple of times a week for nearly the past two years I have been teaching a Blender course to 5th (4th &6th) graders at the S.H.A.P.E Community Center located in Third Ward Houston, Texas. Each semester we start with the basics and finish with a project. The idea is to get kids in a vulnerable areas some basic knowledge of 3D with the hopes that in the future, if and when need, they will have a wider scope of what 3D can do for there lives and does for the lives of us all. All of the works you see below are done entirely by the students I just walk them through the step. AWSOME RIGHT?!!! So a big THANK YOU to all the people you take time in there lives to create OpenGL, You are truly making a difference, THANK YOU to the S.H.A.P.E. Community Center for providing a venue to allow kids opportunities they might not have had otherwise, and THANK YOU to all the kids who put up with my gnarly jokes and are still able to rock and roll in Blender. Finally this is not all the works of the students, this is my fault because I have lost some flash sticks, but I will be more diligent in the future. ENJOi!
